About the Studio

A space 30 years in the making

This is a large, brand-new studio, flooded with natural light — a simple, clean space designed to hold everything your movement practice needs, and nothing it doesn't.

For group classes in ALIGN, FAMO, YOGA and PILATES, you'll find every prop imaginable: blankets, bolsters, bricks, blocks, belts, massage balls and domes, over balls, toning balls, trigger balls, and kneeling mats.
Whatever your body needs on a given day, it's here.

We also have a Yoga Wall — a wonderful tool for suspending and tractioning the body, creating space and reaching areas that movement on the floor simply can't access.

For private and duet sessions, there's a fully equipped Pilates studio, with reformer, tower, and chair.

After thirty years of teaching, this space is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream — my own studio, built exactly as I always imagined it: room to teach groups, a Yoga Wall, and full Pilates equipment for private work, all under one roof.

For now, I am the only teacher here. This isn't a studio with a rotating cast — when you walk through the door, I will be your teacher.

I'll get to know you, your body, and what you need, class after class.

ALIGNMENT, BREATH, FLOW

Dynamic Hatha Yoga

Builds strength and flexibility, emphasis on alignment and precision.

Focus on the relationship between breath and movement.

Suitable for: Some prior Yoga experience recommended — not for beginners

WHOLE-SYSTEM FASCIA PRACTICE

FAMO Fascia Movement®

Improves posture, multidimensional strength, elasticity and ease.

Works the body as an integrated system.

Suitable for: All levels welcome

CLASSICAL MAT + MYOFASCIAL RELEASE

Pilates & FAMO

Classical Pilates mat work fused with FAMO fascia techniques.

Tones, strengthens, and releases the whole body.

Suitable for: All levels

Private classes

I also offer private sessions, for those who want to work more closely,  whether to address something specific, recover from injury, or go deeper into their practice.

One-to-One session

One-to-one sessions offer dedicated time to focus on your individual needs, goals and movement experience.

Sessions may draw from Pilates equipment, Yoga, FAMO Fascia Movement®, the Great Yoga Wall and other movement approaches, creating a personalised practice that evolves with you.

Ideal if you are looking for more individual attention, working with a particular challenge, or simply want to explore your movement in greater depth.

Suitable for: All levels, including complete beginners

Duet session

Duet sessions offer the benefits of personalised guidance while sharing the experience with a partner, friend or family member.

Sessions are tailored to the needs and goals of both people and may incorporate Pilates equipment, Yoga, FAMO Fascia Movement®, the Great Yoga Wall and other movement approaches.

A great option for two people who enjoy moving and learning together.

Suitable for: All levels, including complete beginners

An elderly woman and man exercising together in a wellness or physical therapy center, with equipment like TRX suspension straps and therapy tools in the background.

Yoga Wall

The Great Yoga Wall uses adjustable straps and supports to bring a new dimension to movement practice.

Working with the support of the wall can create space and decompression in the body, deepen awareness and alignment, and offer new ways to explore strength, mobility and balance.

At MOVE, the Yoga Wall is integrated, where appropriate, into Yoga, Pilates and movement sessions to support both challenge and ease.

In the future, if there is sufficient interest, Stephanie may also offer dedicated Great Yoga Wall sessions for small groups of up to four people.

FAQs

Besides the group classes, do you offer private reformer Pilates?

Yes, I have a fully equipped and dedicated private space for running one to one and duet equipment Pilates classes.

I’m 71 years old, can I join a group class?

Yes, absolutely - and i’d love to have you! My group classes are designed to welcome all ages and abilities. You don’t need private sessions to get excellent, personalised support. Whether you are 30 or 80, you’ll find modifications and progressions that work for your body right now. My studio is built on community, and I believe that training together - across different ages and stages - makes us all stronger.

Come join us and find your power again.

Who is MOVE for?

I work especially closely with people in their 40s through their 80s. My focus isn't generic exercise — it's helping each person understand their own body and find freedom in how they move, often in ways they didn't think were still possible. I believe strongly that feeling part of a community is a huge part of wellbeing — moving together, making friends, showing up for each other. That's the whole idea behind the studio's name: MOVE — movement for living well. Not just living long, but living long well.

I'm not really a "yoga and pilates" person — I play golf/tennis and just want to keep moving well. Is this studio for me?

Honestly, some of my most committed regulars started exactly where you are. Men and women in their 50s and 60s who've never set foot in a studio, who play golf or tennis a few times a week, and who've started noticing they're a bit stiffer on the first few holes, or their swing isn't quite what it was. That's precisely who I love working with.

What I teach is fascia-focused movement — essentially the connective tissue and mobility work that keeps your body moving freely, not just strong in isolated ways. It's not about flexibility for its own sake, and it's nothing like a typical yoga class. Think of it as maintenance for the systems your golf or tennis game actually depends on: rotation, balance, and moving well under load, so you're not losing distance or mobility to age you don't need to lose yet.

You don't need to be flexible, and you don't need any experience to start. Come along, tell me what you play and where you're feeling it, and I'll show you where to begin.

I’d like a class tailored for older bodies, where I can connect with people from my generation and make new friends. Do you offer this?

This is exactly the kind of community I’m building, and I'm eager to create it. As soon as I have enough interest, I’m committed to launching specialized classes for older adults - designed specifically for your body’s needs while fostering friendships and community connection you’re looking for.

I truly believe that being well isn’t just about physical strength - it’s about belonging and connection. If this appeals to you, please reach out. Your interest directly shapes what we build together, and I’d love to create this supportive, age-specific environment for you.
