Pilates equipment supports the body offering the muscles and levers a different relationship to gravity. This enables the body to go through a range of motion otherwise inaccessible which promotes better balance, strength and mobility to the whole body.
It offers valuble feedback to the body, which can highlight asymmetries and imbalances and also guide the student to a clearer movement pathway.
