The classes take place on the mat using the Pilates original mat-work exercises of which there are 34. Although Stephanie uses these exercises as a guideline, and the ability to execute them as an ultimate goal, she focuses on the journey to achieving that goal.
In her opinion it is in the journey that you really make the “bodymind” connection and integrate the various parts of the human system.
This process is unique in each individual and Stephanie uses a varied approach both verbally and with props to guide the student.

An energizing & dynamic practice to suit all levels based on the anatomical alignment of Iyengar, with the flow of vinyasa while maintaining a correct sensitivity of the breath. The practice of asana (postures) requires a high level of concentration for prolonged periods, leading the mind to a greater consciousness of the “moment”. Stephanie describes this as “meditation in movement”.

 Yoga – Tuesdays & Fridays 9:15 am – 10:15 am Level 2 / 10:30 am – 11:30 am Level 1

Saturdays 9:45 am – 11:00 am Open Level

Pilates – Thursdays 9:15 am – 10:15 am / Saturdays 8:30 am – 9:30 am

How to Begin

  • I have mats at the hall that you can borrow, however I strongly recommend you also have your own mat. For Yoga a sticky-mat and for Pilates I recommend a thicker foam mat. Let me know if you are having difficulty with this and I will do my best to help.
  • A small towel can also be useful.
  • Please wear comfortable close fitting clothes.
  • Come with an open mind and an empty belly. For Yoga, try to not eat 2 hours prior to practice. For example for the 9:15am class have your breakfast at 7am if possible
  • Please always inform me if you have any injuries or health problems before the start of class.


Terms & Conditions

  • Numbers are limited  so I recommend you reserve your place in your chosen class. Drop-in students are welcome to all classes space permitting on a first come first serve basis.
  • Payment can be made by direct transfer or by cash at the start of term.
  • Once you have paid would you kindly send me an email confirming.
  • Class schedule is subject to change. Please check schedule.
